Here you have Sony's version of Forza Motorsport, once again it is a similar style track based racing simulator. While both games are somewhat similar, many will say that Gran Turismo is a better game. I find that those who say this have never played Forza. While they are similar in some ways, Gran Turismo does not allow any vehicle customisation option. You can only buy a car, and race it. I could not play a racing game where I could not personalize my car and make it mine. It comes full with some realistic racing features, good graphics, and over 1000 cars, but it just isn't as homey or fun to play as Forza.GT5 is the first game in the series in which they make it possible to legitimately damage your car, plus the vehicles are seperated into standard and premium classes. The standard cars can't even be damaged much and have many parts that aren't even available to them, the premium are the only good and somewhat realistic ones. It took them 5 games but despite a few flaws, they finally have an almost decent racing game.
The verdict: I personally think that Gran Turismo 5 is a decent game, but I would much rather stick with Forza. It's alot more fun to play, and gives a much more creative feel to racing.
I have grand tourismo 5 prologe and it sucks it wont let me play onlin but just to play around on it 1V1 isent so bad but do they have forza for play station 3?and i like racing games but iv been whanting to get the new motocrosse game called mud. keep up the good work i like your blogs
ReplyDeleteI have never played it but it seems like a really good game. I remember when my cusin and I would play I would plat gt2 for ps2 and it was alot of fun playing that game although he would always beet me somehow. In my opinion i agree with you.

Now this seems like a really good game, I would like to give it a try. I think this is the kind of game my little cousins play most of the time. Keep it up:)
